I run a small business out of my home selling the silly artsy stuff that I make. I have an etsy store where I sell spaghetti sauce jars that have been upcycled into coin banks, crochet headbands and hats, decoupage anything, and what not. I have had the store for only 3 months, but I really thought that I would start selling things fairly quickly but I did not. BUT! I got my very first custom coin jar order two weeks ago and I mailed the finished product off today. I also put my headbands in consignment sales and I had a bulk order of 6 headbands and 4 sunhats for and out of town customer who is going to resell them in his shop and at the local consignment sale there was apparently a rush on the headbands and I was advised to try and have 100 made for the next sale! SQUEE! It is lots of work, but lots of fun and I am happy to have the creative outlet.

I am retired from the AF, and I work as the Fitness Center Manager at Patrick AFB, Fl. I am enjoying a some what calm day. Watching some AFV and waiting for another thunderstorm to come through:)

It has been another crazy Saturday for me! Yikes! No matter how much I try to sleep in on weekends, my body just won't let me. It must be raining everywhere, as we had some pretty nasty storms earlier as well. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and this year we are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We do not have any children but hopefully some day soon enough. Ash, I think its great that you enjoy your small business and that you are receiving some large orders! That's awesome! Lots of luck to you! ;)

Hey All,
Just ugh! It has been a nasty rainy weekend and even though I completed my content review yesterday I wanted to look at it through fresh eyes today in case I wanted to change or tweak. I FORGOT TO TURN IT IN!!! can you believe it! I am about to crawl into bed and just said, oh man... so now I am up again. Assignment is turned in, but that whole oh shoot moment revved me up. oh well, off to get what little rest is due me. My baby did cut her first two bottom teeth this week and she is miserable and so grumpy.
Thanks for working hard with me this week. I had fun getting things together and up and going and exchanging ideas.
Here is to a better week ahead! No rain! My tomatoes need sun to ripen!
